5 years, 5 promotions, 5 watches. I definitely have a type.

Over the past 5 years I decided to commemorate my yearly promotion by getting myself a watch. I started with the Seiko SKX 007, which took place of my stolen Orange Monster, and has been through hell and kept going.

After that, I got my Omega Seamaster 300 2543.80, which has been my absolute favorite watch. It's the only quartz watch in my collection and it feels absolutely at home on my wrist.

I don't know what drew me to the Breitling Superocean A17340, but the thing is an overbuilt tank and I love it.

IMHO the most mechanically brilliant watch of the group is the Tutor Heritage Black Bay GMT Pepsi 79830 I got last year, I absolutely love everything about this watch, even the ridiculous thickness. I literally have had coworkers think I was being rude rushing them, when in reality I was just marveling at this beauty.

Rounding out the collection was this year's promotion and "goal watch," a 2008 Rolex Submariner 16610. What can I say about this watch that hasn't been said 10,000 times, definitely lives up to the hype.
